Job Description
- Req#: R25086367
- The staff occupational therapist shall evaluate and treat patients; develop a treatment plan; and set goals for patients.
- Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals.
- The OT will complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies.
- The therapist will assist with the education of affiliating students, the department staff, hospital staff, and the community at large.
- The therapist will appropriately delegate to and supervise Occupational therapist assistants and technicians.
- The therapist will participate in departmental operational plan.
- The therapist must intervene appropriately and meet the needs of the patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing or mobility.
- Bachelor's Degree, Occupational Therapy
- Current license by the Ky Board of Occupational Therapy
- Current CPR
