      Job Description

      Occupational Therapist – Flexible Community Role

      Location: Ballina / Byron / Mullumbimby / Lismore Regions

      Work Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

      Sector: NDIS / Community Health

      Your Role will include

      As an OT in our team, you’ll make a meaningful difference through:

      • Managing a caseload that aligns with your areas of interest
      • Conducting clinical assessments across emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions
      • Developing individualised, evidence-based therapy goals and interventions
      • Providing environmental modification advice for homes, schools, workplaces and residential settings
      • Recommending and facilitating Assistive Technology (AT) to promote independence
      • Staying compliant with current legislation and NDIS guidelines
      • Working collaboratively within a supportive, multidisciplinary team

      Qualifications

      What You’ll Need to Succeed

      • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
      • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
      • A proactive, client-centred mindset with a desire to innovate and grow
      • A genuine passion for working in the disability and community sector
      • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
      • An interest in paediatrics, complex needs, or a preferred caseload area (let’s tailor it together!)
