RESPONSIBILITIES:
-This is a Full Time Position-

• Apply OCS platform knowledge during organ retrieval, preservation, transport, and assessment.
• Work closely with transplant teams, transportation companies, and surgical teams to ensure organs are safely transported to the transplant center.
• Relay real time phone updates while supporting ongoing OCS cases
• On call 15 days a month 24 x 7 (including holidays/weekends); including travel to clinical sites within and outside of home regions to perform OCS platform support as described above.
• When not on call, work remotely from home or as assigned during standard working hours.
• Manage inventory & shipments on a weekly basis
• Provide customer support as needed (hospital in-services & refresher training)
• Preparation and submission of post case documentation and case reviews
• Assist with Lab trainings and R&D activities

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS or BSN degree in combination with equivalent medical experience, with 2+ years’ experience in ICU, ECMO, Cath Lab, OR, Transplant, and ED.
• Completion of comprehensive hands-on training and OCS certification across 3 organ platforms at TransMedics’ state-of-the-art training facility in Andover, MA
  Annual recertification on all organ platforms
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms
• Highly flexible and willing to support Hub sites as needed within and across regions
