  Job Description:
  As an Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant at CGI, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, configuring Odoo ERP, and developing custom solutions to enhance system functionality. This role requires a blend of technical expertise (Python, JavaScript, CSS, XML, REST APIs, Alexa API) and functional knowledge of CRM, Helpdesk, Accounting, and ERP workflows. The consultant will be involved in requirement gathering, development, testing, implementation, training, and support.
  Key Responsibilities:
  1. Functional Consulting & Business Analysis
  - Work with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and provide optimal Odoo solutions.
  - Configure Odoo CRM, Helpdesk, Accounting, and other modules to match business workflows.
  - Identify gaps and propose customization or automation solutions.
  - Provide functional demonstrations and training to end-users.
  2. Technical Development & Customization
  - Customize Odoo modules using Python, JavaScript, XML, and CSS.
  - Develop new functionalities and ensure seamless integration with third-party applications using REST APIs and Alexa API.
  - Work on website and portal development to extend Odoo functionalities.
  3. System Implementation & Testing
  - Manage full-cycle Odoo implementation, from setup to post-go-live support.
  - Perform unit testing (mandatory) to ensure system stability and efficiency.
  - Debug and troubleshoot functional and technical issues.
  4. Integration & Upgrades
  - Ensure smooth integration between Odoo and external applications.
  - Handle Odoo version upgrades, ensuring compatibility with existing modules.
  5. Documentation & Support
  - Document business workflows, configurations, and customizations for future reference.
  - Provide ongoing technical and functional support to clients and internal teams.
  Key Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Functional Expertise
  - Strong understanding of CRM, Helpdesk, Accounting, and other ERP modules.
  - Ability to analyze business needs and provide functional solutions.
  - Experience with business process automation in Odoo.
  2. Technical Skills
  - Python, JavaScript, CSS, XML for Odoo development.
  - Expertise in REST API and Alexa API integration.
  - Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Odoo ORM.
  - Experience in website and portal development within Odoo.
  3. Testing & Debugging
  - Unit testing is mandatory for all developments.
  - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  4. Communication & Collaboration
  - Ability to bridge the gap between technical and functional teams.
  - Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
  - Experience in user training and change management.
  5. Preferred Qualifications
  - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
  - Odoo certification is a plus.
  - Prior experience in Odoo ERP implementation projects.
