I'm happy to work around school schedules but I prefer to keep the same schedule from week to week.
I would like to hire full-time, part-time and summer employees.
Our hours our 7am to 5:30pmSalary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:
Minimum: $15.00 Maximum: $20.00 Number of Positions:
2 Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years old
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Complete early childhood education training
Have experience in an early childhood setting
Complete infant and child First AID and CPR training
Abusive Head Trauma training
Pass a criminal background checkKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Patient and compassionate to young children's needs and emotions
A basic understanding of young children's growth and developmentPosition Summary/Job Duties:
Collaborate with other teachers
Read stories and lead students through lessons and activities
Engage and encourage students to use their language skills; develop social skills
Monitor students' playtime and physical activities
Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning
Maintain compliance with DPI 251 licensing rules
Ensure space and shared toys are clean, sanitized, and orderlyPhysical Demands:
You must be able to get down to a child's eye level, sit on the ground or in a low chair, walk up and down about 5 steps. Spend time both inside and outside. Possibly pick up a small child.
