Position Summary:Martin Marietta is seeking a Off Highway Haul Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal individual will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating haul trucks loaded with rock within the quarry. The Off-Highway haul truck driver will perform various maintenance duties in the quarry, safely and efficiently operate the pit and yard loaders, perform daily pre-shift inspections, and perform minor maintenance and repairs on the haul truck.u00A0Hours: Monday-Friday: 6 AM - 4 PMu00A0Boonsboro QuarryBoonsboro, MD 21713u00A0Warfordsburg QuarryWarfordsburg, PA 17267u00A0A typical day for a(n) Off Highway Haul Truck Driver may include:u2022 u00A0 u00A0Operating a haul truck within the company guidelines and safety standards
u2022 u00A0 u00A0Participating in safety inspections, plant safety program, and follows company and MSHA safety rules and regulations
u2022 u00A0 u00A0Aiding in loader production by breaking down surge piles and maintains product pile as needed
u2022 u00A0 u00A0Performing pre-shift safety inspection on equipment and reports needed repairs to the supervisor
u2022 u00A0 u00A0Performing preventative maintenance, services mobile equipment, and is responsible for good housekeeping of equipment
u2022 u00A0 u00A0Operating other equipment such as pit and yard loaders in a safe manner as needed
u2022 u00A0 u00A0Aiding in the training of co-workers as needed
u2022 u00A0 u00A0Performing other duties as assigned by supervisoru00A0You may be a good fit if you:u2022 u00A0 u00A0Possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position
u2022 u00A0 u00A0Have experience in the maintenance and operation of mobile equipment and/or equipment used processing plants
u2022 u00A0 u00A0Have six (6) months experience as a haul truck driver or other related experience (preferred)About the company
