- Help People: Be friendly and helpful to everyone who contacts us, whether by phone, email, our online help center, or in person. Solve problems and answer questions.
- Reserve Facilities: Use our system to book cabins, campsites, and activities like horseback riding and climbing.
- Financial Support: Help with money matters, like keeping track of payments for reservations and events.
- Website Help: Keep our website and events calendar up to date. We can show you how.
- Office Tasks: Do different office jobs like making copies, organizing files, answering phones, and purchasing supplies. You will also be responsible for gathering supplies which require you to climb a ladder and lift items off of shelves.
- Fill In: Be ready to help other staff when they need it.
- High School Diploma or GED: You need at least this level of education.
- Friendly Attitude: Be nice and ready to help.
- Computer Skills: Know your way around Microsoft Office, like Word and Excel.
- Office Skills: Be good at things like answering phones, using copiers, and typing accurately.
- Organized: Manage your time well and handle lots of tasks at once.
- Experience: It helps if you’ve done a job like this before.

- Schedule: Choose between a 5-day work week (9AM to 5PM on Monday-Friday) or a 4-day work week (7AM to 5PM on either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday).

Overview
The Greater St. Louis Area Scouting has been helping young people become leaders since 1911. We run summer camps, outdoor programs, and training courses to teach important skills and values. As an Office Assistant in our Program Department, you'll help make sure everything runs smoothly.
