What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the Technical Coordinator in reviewing and processing project construction submittals
- Ensure completeness and correctness of project submittals, reviewing for compliance with specifications and contract requirements
- Review and process requests for design clarifications (RFDC) and requests for information (RFI)
- Review construction submittal packages to confirm compliance with contract documents
- Collaborate with procurement staff to resolve issues with nonconforming submittal packages
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma/GED and four years of experience in the construction industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical and time management skills
- Strong client relations skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Four-year degree in engineering, construction, architecture, or management
- Current or ability to obtain a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance
