      The role

      As an Office Intern based in Oslo you will be closely involved with the broader teams within Oslo, across the Nordics, and our teams internationally in EMEA and US. Through this part time employment, you will be exposed to different functions within the local and regional organization, and specially be involved in daily tasks across the functions such as Product, Service and Support, Finance, Data and Business Development. You will be the link between the internal and external stakeholders and create and maintain structure and processes.

      Morningstar will provide job training and access to online classroom which will introduce you to our Morningstar Rating for funds, Morningstar Sustainability Rating and Low Carbon Risk Score on mutual funds. All derived from our global database on investment vehicles that you will get insight on through this program. These efforts will help you to succeed in your role.

      Responsibilities

      • Advantage with good knowledge of MS Excel.
      • Some experience or interest to financial markets will be a plus, and knowledge to Phyton.
      • You will have the opportunity to take ownership to the tasks and projects with a mentor that will guide you through the process.
      • Supporting Retail User on Morningstar websites; general question and login issues.
      • Supporting editorial team uploading videos and articles on Morningstar websites and Social Media
      • Proofreading/sanity checks on articles and analysis.
      • Helping Finance with registration of vendor invoices.
      • Assisting Service/Support team with different types of client cases.
      • General product/label translation for client solutions and MS website.
      • Assist local/regional teams in client events.
      • Data checks and maintenance

      Qualifications

      • You are a current student on a Bachelor Program, or higher, within an economic, finance, marketing or technical degree.
      • You have a minimum of 2 years left of your studies.
      • You speak and write Norwegian fluent and good knowledge of English
      • Great interest for financial markets and data.
      • Analytical and structured mindset with high motivation to learn, and an eye for details.
