Job Description

- Perform secretarial functions for the Principal including generation of communications for Principal’s approval and signature.
- Coordinate and maintain Principal and school-wide calendars.
- Coordinate district-level information for the principal to include, but not limited to weekly bulletins, events, training, meetings, and deadlines.
- Coordinate schedules and work assignments for Principal’s clerk and all other office helpers.
- Attend all required administrative meetings and trainings.
- Maintain adequate office supplies and materials in advance of need.
- Serve as point of contact for staff, substitutes, students, parents, and community with regards to general campus operations.
- Effectively utilize attendance reports to monitor and maintain daily staff attendance records and reconcile monthly, bi-weekly, and supplemental attendance records.
- Manage supplemental pay activity requests including creation of supplemental pay activity codes, review supplemental pay reports, and reconcile time cards, ensure all required supplemental documentation is submitted and properly maintained.
- Ensure all supplemental pay policies and procedures are followed by all campus staff.
- Effectively use Budget Manager Reports to monitor and adjust line item accounts.
- Maintain budgets to ensure adequate funding and alignment to Campus Action Plan.
- Manage requisitions and reconciliation process to include but not limited to generation of requisitions, verification of funding, maintenance of supporting documents, receipt of materials/services, and monitoring of payments.
- Maintain all documents related to expenditures of grants including materials, contracts and events, field trips, and personnel utilization.
- All other duties as assigned by the Principal.
- Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position
- Demonstrated knowledge of district organization, operations, and administrative policies.
- Demonstrated computer skills with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated flexibility to cope with the challenges of a rapidly changing world
- Demonstrated willingness to remain current with the latest developments in the profession

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel throughout the district is integral to this job. A remote working environment /alternate work arrangement is not an option for campus-based employees/campus-based positions because regular and punctual attendance at the worksite and performing all duties at the worksite are essential job duties for all campus-based personnel.
High School Diploma and three years of related clerical and/or secretarial experience or Associate’s Degree in business related area.
When performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; communicate verbally and electronically; stand, and move throughout the building and/or to other facilities; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl; climb; balance and drive. Frequently required to life or exert force of up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently required to work prolonged and irregular hours.
