      Opus Inspection, Inc. is a software and electronic hardware-driven global leader in the Automotive Technology Service industry. Our mission is to make the world a cleaner and safer place by providing highly effective solutions for Vehicle Inspection through innovative technologies, customer focus and operational excellence. Opus’ technologies and services help our state partners meet strict US EPA Clean Air regulations by managing vehicle inspection programs, Vehicle Information Databases, and developing differentiated solutions for remote vehicle monitoring.

      We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Office Manager to support our corporate team. This is an on-site role in East Granby, CT that combines high-level executive support with hands-on office and facilities management, budget management, compliance responsibilities, team coordination, event planning, and culture-building initiatives. The Office Manager exercises independent judgment and decision-making authority in day-to-day and strategic activities and serves as a key liaison across departments. Job duties include:

      Executive Support and Project Oversight

      • Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
      • Prepare polished presentations, agendas, and reports for internal and external meetings.
      • Track, monitor, and follow up on action items and strategic initiatives for senior leadership, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are communicated across departments.
      • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality in all communications.
      • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in support of leadership and business operations.

      Office Management

      • Oversee daily office operations: manage supplies, snacks, mail, vendor relationships, and ensure a clean and functional work environment.
      • Organize and optimize shared spaces and storage and supply cabinets.
      • Act as primary liaison for building management, IT support, cleaning, and maintenance services.
      • Maintain and troubleshoot basic office equipment (printers, A/V, etc.).

      Event, Travel & Meeting Planning

      • Coordinate logistics for executive meetings, team offsites, internal events, and conferences.
      • Arrange domestic and international travel for executives, ensuring efficient itineraries.
      • Plan and execute culture-building activities, company events, and milestone celebrations.

      People & Culture Support

      • Partner with HR to assist in onboarding new hires (desk setup, welcome kits, etc.).
      • Maintain internal team calendars and assist with scheduling cross-functional meetings.
      • Support internal communication efforts, including office announcements and event reminders.

      Facilities & Safety

      • Manage office access and security systems (keys, visitor check-in, etc.).
      • Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure the workplace is safe, clean, and compliant.
      • Develop and maintain emergency procedures and safety protocols; maintain supplies like first-aid kits and extinguishers.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent international degree required (Business Administration, Office Management, or related field)
      • 10+ years of experience in executive support, office management, or administrative operations.
      • Microsoft Office Certification (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
      • Experience with Concur and NetSuite.
      • EH&S and Workplace Safety Management Training/Certification a plus.
      • Outstanding organizational, problem solving, and multitasking skills.
      • Strong communication and people skills, both verbally and written.
      • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership—comfortable wearing many hats.

      Qualifications

      • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., supplies, event setups).
      • Professionalism, discretion, and a team-first mindset.
      • Authorization to work in the US.
