- Answers the telephone and acts as receptionist.
- Serve as information liaison between students and district employees.
- Orders and receives inventory and distributes school supplies.
- Composes correspondence independently on routine matters.
- Manages reporting functions as required.
- Establishes and maintains files and records, including correspondence and personnel records.
- Routes incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintains student body funds.
- Administers first aid to students.
- Manages breakfast and hot lunch programs.
- Contacts substitutes for licensed and classified staff that is absent.
- Maintains confidentiality of work-related information.
- Operates computers and other office machines, including photocopiers.
- Dispenses medication in accordance with district policy.
- Fulfills other secretarial-related duties as assigned by the building administrator.
- Coordinates the tasks assigned to all office secretarial employees or volunteers within the building with the building administrator's approval.
- Establishes and maintains student files and records, including attendance, grades, discipline and cumulative files.
- Organizes annual health screening of students.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associates degree preferred or minimum 2 years of experience in a school setting and district office work experience is preferred.
- Employee must be highly proficient with word-processing, spreadsheets and other software applications as appropriate.
- Ability to obtain a valid CPR/First Aid card.

Office Manager – Reedsport School District
Reedsport School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Office Manager for Reedsport School District. This position will be located at Highland Elementary beginning in the 2025-26 school year.
JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision of the building administrator, the Office Manager will be responsible for managing the operation of the school office and will perform a variety of clerical and secretarial work that requires the use of independent decision-making.
