      We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Office Manager to join our rapidly growing startup. As we develop cutting-edge products for our thermochemical energy storage systems in our engineering and research facilities, we need someone who can keep our team and our day-to-day operations running smoothly and efficiently. The Office Manager will be expected to articulate OKRs for the position and demonstrate the ability to achieve metrics-oriented results. The position is located in RedoxBlox's San Diego headquarter offices.

      Responsibilities

      • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a productive work environment for our engineering and research teams
      • Manage facilities, including assisting with maintenance, security, and safety protocols for our specialized equipment and laboratories
      • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for office and research equipment, negotiating contracts and managing relationships
      • Implement and maintain efficient administrative systems and procedures
      • Assist with onboarding new employees, including coordinating IT setup and access to necessary resources
      • Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members
      • Manage office budget, track expenses, and process invoices
      • Coordinate company events, team-building activities, and offsites
      • Act as a liaison between different departments, facilitating communication and collaboration
      • Support the leadership team with various administrative tasks as needed

      Requirements

      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields
      • 3+ years of experience in office management, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
      • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
      • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project management tools
      • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and budget management
      • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
      • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
      • Experience in a technical or engineering environment is a plus
