      Cramer Fish Sciences (CFS) is seeking an Office Manager to join our West Sacramento, CA team!

      This pivotal role provides high-level executive support to our President and helps ensure the smooth, day-to-day operations of our West Sacramento office. This position also offers opportunities to support the Genidaqs Lab (also in West Sacramento) and collaborate with our corporate Business Support Team in Portland, OR.

      The Office Manager plays a key on-site role-managing executive calendars and communications, coordinating daily office operations, and providing cross-functional support in HR, Finance, IT, and facilities. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background who is ready to step into an Office Manager role or grow into broader responsibilities over time.       ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Executive Support (Approx. 40%)

      • Provide high-level administrative support to the President ensuring smooth daily operations
      • Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and travel logistics for the President and organizational leaders, including prioritizing meetings, booking travel, arranging itineraries, and organizing Microsoft Teams calls
      • Draft and prepare internal and external communications, meeting agendas, reports, and presentation materials; support board communications and special projects as needed

      Office & Facilities Management (Approx. 40%)

      • Oversee general office operations, including ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
      • Coordinate maintenance for facilities, vehicles, equipment, and boats
      • Handle DMV registrations, travel logs, and vendor coordination
      • Represent the West Sacramento office on the Safety Committee and support safety initiatives
      • Provide basic on-site IT support in coordination with the IT team (hardware/software setup, troubleshooting)

      Administrative & Team Support (Approx. 20%)

      • Serve as a point of contact for staff communications and collaborate regularly with administrative colleagues across all locations
      • Manage front-office functions such as mail, package distribution, and greeting guests
      • Support HR functions including onboarding/offboarding, recruitment logistics, and employee training coordination for West Sacramento
      • Assist the Finance team by processing receipts, expense reports, and related documentation
      • Maintain organized and accurate physical and digital administrative records.
      • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

      EDUCATION / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred, especially in business administration, communications, or a related field
      • Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, office coordination, or a similar role
      • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience drafting emails, memos, and reports
      • Comfortable working independently and exercising sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information
      • Basic familiarity with HR processes (onboarding/offboarding, trainings) and IT troubleshooting (equipment setup, password resets, etc.) is a plus
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with digital filing systems, expense software, or HR platforms is helpful
      • Willingness to contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven team environment

      COMPENSATION:

      • Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (Dependent on experience)
