Job Description

- Operate high-volume copy machines, scanners, and document handling equipment
- Perform binding, finishing, and mail processing tasks
- Handle sensitive, time-sensitive, and confidential documents
- Maintain and repair copier equipment, clear jams, and report issues
- Distribute office supplies, mail, and faxes
- Track job charges, maintain billing logs, and respond to service calls
- Perform document scanning, file conversion, and OCR tasks
- Support shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Maintain convenience copier areas and manage inventory of supplies
- File, purge, and archive old documents as required
- Use various office equipment, including shrink-wrap machines, bindery equipment, fax machines, and postage meters
- Interact with legal staff at all levels, including secretaries, paralegals, and partners
- Coordinate off-site projects when necessary
- Experience operating high-volume copiers, scanners, and other office equipment
- Proficiency with MS Office, email systems, and image-handling software
- Strong attention to detail and quality control, especially for sensitive documents
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of filing systems, scanning, and document conversion (OCR)

Manager's Description:
Back-end duties mostly like dish washing, coffee/ beverages preparation, cleaning up after events.
Typically Required: Requires high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. Complete Client Legal training within 90 days of hire and maintain any new training requirements. Some related copy job experience is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Legal Industry is strongly desired. Ability to provide an excellent customer experience, utilizing strong customer service, personal and communication skills. May require a valid driver’s license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage per Client policy. Demonstrated competency in basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite. Technical aptitude with printers, copy and postage machines and other office equipment. Good customer service skills. Good organization skills. Ability to utilize a mixture of hardware and software to support functions such as cost recovery, document management and advanced workflow. Requires knowledge and understanding of shipping/receiving procedures. Basis electronics knowledge is preferred. Possesses ability to work independently and flexibly to complete projects. Possesses ability to determine correct method and packing material as well as check packing slips for accuracy of incoming materials. Possesses ability to comprehend instructions concerning mail delivery. Possesses troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Possesses ability to read and comprehend written technical information in the form of manuals, parts books and related publications. Possesses excellent customer relations skills and excellent verbal communication skills.The position provides essential operations support within a legal office environment. This role involves managing high-volume duplicating, scanning, and mail processing tasks while ensuring the secure handling of sensitive documents.
