      Join our team as the essential office support specialist, where your role as the first impression for clients and providers will be instrumental in delivering vital social and financial services to those in need.

      SUMMARY OF DUTIES

      In this position, you will perform support services duties for the district's managers, case managers, eligibility staff and provide customer services to clients, their families and the general public.

      Major duties include:

      • Process homecare worker vouchers and medical mileage but is not limited to: Review documents for completion, inputting data into systems, generate vouchers, PTC system, processing facility payments and corrections, problem solving with case managers,

      • Assist Homecare workers over the phone and in public with the Provider time capture system, data entry, payment issuance and complete adjustments to prevent overpayment or underpayments.

      • Performs other duties as assigned which could include but not limited to assisting APD case management team, general office, customer service/assisting front recent and record processing tasks.

      WORKING CONDITIONS

      • Experience high volume of computer work, using various computer programs in a fast-paced team environment.

      • Primarily an office setting with frequent interruptions. Regular interaction with the public in person, by email and by phone. Must be able to communicate effectively.

      • General cube-like office environment. Occasional travel to attend employee training classes. Must possess and maintain an Oregon Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

      • May encounter angry, hostile, frustrated individuals, and those with behavioral and/or cognitive challenges.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.

      OR

      • An associate degree in any field.

      OR

      • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
