Job Description

- Serves as a Help Desk operator and coordinator.
- Serves as a Security Coordinator (RACF/LAN) for CCAP providers, consultants and staff.
- Serves as a Bureau liaison for child care systems.
- Assists in responding to requests for data.
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the planning and implementation of technology upgrades and system enhancements.
- Acts as a liaison with DHS and CMS facilities management staff, and building maintenance personnel to coordinate space needs, equipment needs, and report building environmental/maintenance problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to two (2) years of secretarial/business college and one (1) year of office experience OR Completion of high school and three (3) years of office experience OR Three (3) years of independent business experience.
- Requires ability to work outside of normal business hours to meet deadlines.
- Requires basic proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software, including PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Position Overview
The Department of Human Services is seeking to hire an Office Specialist to serve as coordinator and liaison for the Office of Early Childhood Serves. The office specialist will track, analyze and report issues and make recommendations to policy, procedural and system changes. This position maintains spreadsheets and assists in responding to requests for data.
