Job Description
- Req#: 1463
- Answer the phone during business hours; sort and process incoming /outgoing mail.
- Search Protect, the District Attorney digital case management system for correct ID numbers.
- File documents and/or files in the file room.
- File stamp incoming documents received in the office.
- Maintain appropriate amounts of paper throughout the office; monitor supply and distribute it as necessary.
- Prepare documents received from attorneys or supervisor for delivery to VRC/Coakley according to protocol, organize them, and transit them for external storage.
- Possession of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Current resident of the State of Wisconsin
- Basic knowledge of all related computer and software applications, such as word processing and spreadsheets
- At least 6 months of clerical support with good communication skills and the ability to relate, communicate and interact with people.

Office Support Assistant 1 - DA
Hourly Pay Rate: $13.74 to $20.61
Closing Date: January 10, 2023. Or sooner upon the receipt of the first 50 application submissions
Job Summary: The major objective of this clerical position is to represent the office in a positive manner when answering questions over the telephone or in person. The Office Support Assistant also processes incoming /outgoing mail. The individual will additionally perform other tasks and duties as requested.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of modern office methods, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Using various office machines, customer service with contact skills over the telephone and in person. Basic data entry skills with a high rate of accuracy, written and oral communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to follow oral/written instructions. Maintain records, files, and store items according to file codes or classifications. Work effectively and harmoniously with others.
