- Completion of grade 12, including or supplemented by business courses, such as MS Office 2010 application software (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).
- Training in the use of SAP purchasing and payroll modules is preferred.
- VanDocs training would be an asset.
- Experience with Parks services, policies, and operations would be considered an asset.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office software programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
- High level of knowledge of the English language in written business communication, including spelling and grammar.
- Sound knowledge of current office practices and procedures.Working knowledge of departmental functions, responsibilities and activities.
- Ability to be a team player, critically think, and adapt quickly to operational needs.
- Ability to perform a variety of clerical, data entry, word-processing, receptionist or other office support functions.
- Ability to prepare routine reports, correspondence and memoranda related to the work.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other staff in supplying factual information and assistance.
- Strong ability to type with speed and accuracy.

Main Purpose & Function
The Office Support Clerk II performs work of some variety and complexity. The successful employee will have sound knowledge of office practices and procedures. This position will primarily be focused on special project work that involves file management, attention to detail, data entry, and electronic record keeping. Additionally, this role provides administrative support to Clerk III and Clerk IV. This role will support the operations of Food Concessions and the functions of the Food Services office.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Duties will include customer service, procure to pay functions, cash management, and general administrative duties. Some of the duties include but are not limited to: assisting the concession operators, establishing supplier schedules and delivery requirements, and sorting and matching invoices to set up for payment while resolving any discrepancies. Additional procure to pay functions include coordinating maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment and processing all concession operations related Accounts Payable. Processing cash register reports and reviewing PCI and cash handling procedures, while maintaining records is a key aspect of this role. In addition, this role entails many general administrative tasks including: maintaining security of confidential information and materials, supporting back end software systems and POS systems (such as Volante), monthly inventory, inventory management, and other support and administrative duties as required.
