      Job description:

      To provide a training administration support function to the Kansanshi Process Training Section and associated stakeholders on site regarding Leadership Development, Graduate Trainees and Scholarship Management programmes

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Constantly liaise with the internal business stakeholders to plan and implement plans for the Graduate Development Programme at Kansanshi closely monitoring the development plans

      • Develop, document and update policies and procedures relating to the Graduate Development Programme.

      • Management and administration of the Undergraduate, Trident College A - Levels and Sentinel Kabitaka scholarships as per approved budget, policies and procedures; including communication with applicants and selection committee

      • Administer employee study sponsorship program, including tracking and managing reimbursements and documentation

      • Facilitate and maintain a database for the record keeping of training & education of employees.

      • Leadership Training Development: Design, develop, and deliver leadership-training programs aimed at enhancing management and leadership capabilities across all levels of the organization.

      • Schedule and coordinate attendance on development activities, courses/workshops.

      • Produce support materials for training courses and certificates of attendance for internal courses.

      • Ensure all sign-in sheets and post-event evaluation forms are returned, reviewed and collated

      • Logistical arrangements and co-ordination of attachments and internship program.

      • Ensure compliance to relevant training policies & procedures.

      • Coordinate and facilitate logistics for external training programs, including scheduling, venue booking, and materials preparation.

      • Ensure accurate booking of Training Nominations and closing out of Training events in the approved Training Management System (INX)

      • Maintain accurate and organized records of training activities, including attendance, evaluations, and feedback

      • Provide support to the training team as needed, including coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, and other tasks.

      • Ensure quality service delivery and maintain positive relations with key stakeholders

      • Develop and maintain networks with external service providers.

      • Any other duties as may be reasonably requested of by the supervisor in line with effective operations of the Training Department.

      Qualifications & Experience:

      • Full grade twelve (G12) school certificate with a Bachelor’s Degree in any Social Science, Business Administration or any relevant related field from a recognised Training Institution

      • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a training or education setting

      • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people

      • Very good Management Report writing skills, with emphasis on paying attention to detail

      • Confidently conversant with Microsoft - Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher

      • Any other Certification in Training administration will be an advantaged.

      • Good organisational skills with a high level of Integrity

      • Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
