      Genesis10 is currently seeking an Okta Developer - IAM for a 6 month contract role with our client in the title insurance industry in Minneapolis, MN.
      This role is 100% remote

      Summary:

      The Okta Developer - IAM is responsible for developing and implementing solutions for identity and access management systems, with a primary focus on Okta integrations. This role involves working closely with development teams to ensure secure and seamless authentication processes, particularly in support of the NYDFS MFA project.

      Responsibilities:
      • Develop and implement Okta solutions for identity and access management, ensuring secure and efficient access to IT resources.
      • Collaborate with development teams to integrate Okta for authentication and authorization in applications.
      • Implement and manage role-based access controls and access permissions within Okta.
      • Monitor and analyze Okta integrations for security threats and issues.
      • Implement and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures related to Okta.
      • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on Okta integration and best practices.
      • Stay current on Okta features, industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IAM.
      • Generate and analyze reports on Okta integration and usage to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
      • Participate in IAM-related projects and initiatives, specifically focusing on enhancing system security and efficiency through Okta.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Expertise
      Education:
      • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
      • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Okta Certified Professional, CISSP, CISM) are preferred.
      • Intermediate .net development experience including an understanding of the following security patterns:
      OWIN - Open Web Interface for .NET
      OAUTH – open authorization

      Experience:
      Generally, 2 to 5 years' experience serving in an Identity security role

      Expertise:
      • Comprehensive understanding of IAM systems, particularly Okta.
      • Familiarity with relevant compliance standards and regulations, especially those pertinent to NYDFS MFA requirements.
      • Knowledge of security best practices and access management protocols, with a focus on Okta.

      Technical Skills:
      • Proficiency in Okta tools and technologies, including API usage and SDKs.
      • Experience with identity lifecycle management, authentication, and authorization processes using Okta.
      • Knowledge of security protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and LDAP.
      • Familiarity with multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions, specifically Okta MFA.
      • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Okta-related issues.

      Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
      • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management, employees, and customers.
      • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise reports free from technical jargon.

      • Overnight business travel by air and/or automobile, may be required
      • The ability to maintain confidences and confidential information may be required
      • The ability to perform under pressure and to be flexible with disruptions and deadlines is required
      • Repetitive and continual keyboard activity and interaction with display monitors is required

      Sedentary Work: The majority of activity in this position involves sedentary work including sitting, standing, walking and the occasional need to lift or move objects

      Compensation:
      Hourly W2 pay rate $65.00-73.00/Hr.

      We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
