The Role and Responsibilities - Digital Delivery Specialist

As a Digital Delivery Specialist, you are a key part of the project team, working closely with your OW peers to execute complex digital projects successfully. You’ll need to have a customer-first mindset, a strong focus on effective planning and, organization and an ability to follow and input into good processes and ways of working. You are successful in this role when you work with the team to drive your project in the right direction.

Skills and Qualifications

Clients hire Oliver Wyman for specialized digital expertise, and the ideal candidate will have most of the following:

• An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program

• At least 2 years of relevant experience, supporting the execution of complex digital projects

• Strong client orientation, ability to understand client business needs and translate them into technology requirements.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to collaborate closely with consultants, project managers, developers, designers and data scientists and speak their respective languages

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings, in both English and Arabic

• A passion for technology and digital and the ability to keep up with trends and developments

• Knowledge of and experience using Agile methodologies such as Scrum, AgilePM, or Kanban to deliver digital projects successfully

• Basic knowledge of testing and release management methodologies of the different technical components

• Experience in using Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Confluence.

• Solid grasp of PMO toolkit basics, enabling project tracking effort estimation among others

• A strong sense of ownership and autonomy, owning topics from end to end and getting things done

• An aptitude for analytical work, like sniffing out clues in massive data sets or hunting down the key issues in a hugely complex challenge

• Know how to take the initiative, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and put the ones you’ve already got to good use - Not just intelligence, but creativity too: you’ll be ready to come up with novel ideas to solve our clients’ biggest problems

• A willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with our incredibly talented team.
