- In conjunction with the High Performance Director, collaborate with assigned NGBs to develop and implement long-range, four-year rolling, and annual sport performance plans.
- Partner across the Sport & Athlete Services division to integrate athlete support programs critical to NGB's success in performance plans, including Direct Athlete Support and Elite Athlete Health Insurance, to ensure optimal performance and administrative services are provided.
- Facilitate the allocation of USOPC resources, both financial and service provision, to aid NGBs in maximizing opportunities for medal-winning success while balancing the mission of the USOPC. Use international results and analysis to help make strategic data-informed decisions regarding allocating USOPC resources to NGBs.
- Partner with the High-Performance Director to allocate sports science provision (strength & conditioning, nutrition, physiology, psychology, etc.) to NGBs, teams, and athletes as needed, ensuring an integrated and consistent world-class service delivery model across the Sport Performance team.
- Collaborating with the other Sport Performance teams, contributing to the USOPC's athlete identification and development strategy, and providing expertise on assigned NGBs' needs and pipeline characteristics, including pipeline maturity.
- Keep an accurate pulse on the Sport Performance efforts of the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees of the top five nations in the medal count in both the Olympic and Paralympic Summer and Winter Games, as well as with any other NOCs/NPCs that have programs worthy of study.
- Oversee the overall strategic performance planning for Games and/or Games support for assigned NGBs. Ensure high-performance needs are integrated into the overall USOPC Games strategy. Collaborate between assigned sports, the USOPC Events & Logistics team, and the Games Operations team to share information and create performance action plans for Games success.
- Manage the operational and fiscal activities for assigned business units, including the Winter Sport Fund. Develop annual budgets, monthly review and reconciliation of financial transactions, prepare forecasts, adhere to economic goals, and provide monthly reporting regarding the status of fiscal activities to the High-Performance Director.
- Contribute to the overall planning for the Olympic Sport department. Assist in developing and delivering on department goals, metrics, accountabilities, and milestones as assigned by the High-Performance Director. Participate in and contribute to particular groups and project assignments within Sport Performance and cross-divisionally.
- Perform key games role assignments, assist with site visits, and organize committee meetings as necessary.
- In support of the winter sport plan targeted at enhancing winter sport over the next 6 years, perform all phases of the project management cycle (Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor & Control, Close) for assigned or identified projects within the Winter Sport Team. Utilize data in the project management cycle.
- Track progress against the Winter Sport Plan, maintaining an ongoing understanding of USOPC and NGB activities against the plan and the ongoing project's current or future impact. Provide quarterly updates to the Winter Sport Team and Olympic Sport Performance Leadership.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle. Ensure projects remain on budget and schedule and deliver desired outcomes.
- Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables. Proactively manage changes in project scope and formulate contingency plans to overcome project obstacles and risks as necessary.
- Identify, structure, and solve problems from beginning to end. Identify obstacles to success and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
- Assist with sport performance-enhancing special projects identified by the USOPC. Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid passport
- Must possess a valid ddriver'slicense
- 7+ years' experience with Olympic or Paralympic sport programs, preferentially including work in performance leadership, coaching, and team management

This home-based role may work from Colorado Springs, CO; Salt Lake City, UT; or Lake Placid, NY.
- Hiring Pay Range:
- Colorado Springs, CO: $76,178 to $96,746 per year.
Salt Lake City, UT: $76,178 to $96,746 per year.
Lake Placid, NY: $83,986 to $106,663 per year.
- Colorado Springs, CO: $76,178 to $96,746 per year.
- This full-time, exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
- Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program at a 15% target. This program is subject to change or elimination by the USOPC at any time at its sole discretion.

Here's a summary of responsibilities:
As a member of the Olympic Sport department, be part of a team created to help drive Team USA athletes' high performance and, in so doing, provide outstanding customer service to National Governing Bodies (NGBs). This position offers performance expertise to support the implementation of long-range, quadrennial, and annual high-performance and athlete development program plans for US Olympic Winter Sport NGBs.
Work with each assigned NGB's staff to understand their challenges and opportunities in the performance space and develop and implement plans that optimize each NGB's performance potential and impact. In conjunction with the High-Performance Director, serve as a resource to the NGBs to ensure awareness and understanding of, negotiate, and manage the programs, resources, and services available to NGB staff, coaches, and athletes from the USOPC. This position will work with other USOPC divisions to ensure collaboration and optimal performance-based services for all NGBs, including games planning, OPTCs, athlete services, and leadership capability.
