- Assessing internal controls to verify they are appropriately designed and operating effectively
- Participating in meetings with business process management to understand the design of the internal control environment
- Drafting recommendations for issues and communicating to management
- Leveraging Internal Audit's GRC system to build and customize reporting
- Creating flowcharts of business processes to help identify control gaps and inefficiencies
- Assisting on distributor audits to ensure compliance with distributor requirements
- Completing a one-week "micro-internship" with the Corporate Finance department to learn about other career opportunities with Olympus
- Facilitating a fun activity at weekly team meetings
- Ensuring Olympus takes all appropriate steps to abide by state and federal laws
- Daily touchpoints with your assigned mentor to discuss tasks and objectives
- Collaborating with team members to complete role-related assignments and projects
- Presenting progress of activities to project leads
- Actively engaging in and adding value to meetings and discussions
- Completing assigned trainings

We're currently looking for an Accounting or Finance-focused intern to join our Internal Audit team in our Center Valley, PA office for the spring (January - April 2024) semester. This is a part-time opportunity working up to 20 hours per week.
As an Olympus intern, you will contribute to our mission by helping your department complete key projects.

Job Qualification
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited 4-year institution. Preferred fields of study include: finance, accounting, business or related degree.
* Must complete sophomore year before the internship begins and graduate after the internship ends.
* Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e. work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.).
* Must possess excellent analytical and organizational skills.
* Must be proficient and have practical knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
* Must not now or in the future require immigration-related sponsorship.**
