Job Description
This role is responsible for conducting internal audits and reporting results.Conducts planning and execution of investigative fieldwork.
Reports findings and recommendations.
Works closely with HR (Industrial Relations) to ensure that appropriate disciplinary action is initiated where required.
Maintains and reports accurate and complete information via the electronic case management system.
Conducts branch visits to identify policy and regulatory non-compliance, identify fraud, perform forensic audits, provide fraud awareness training and coach line managers.
Builds/maintains effective working relationships and liaises with relevant internal and external stakeholders including line managers, staff, SAPS, the NPA and other role players in the industry.
Makes recommendations to ensure the implementation of preventative measures to prevent recurrence.Minimum Requirements:
Certificate within a Forensic Investigation Field
3 years Financial services investigation experience
Banking and card investigation experience (essential)
Hold professional membership with ICFP and ACFE (advantageous)
Understanding of SAPS and Court Procedures
General understanding of Labour law (understating of procedural and substantive fairness principles)
Extensive travel
