      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review various digital documents for Section 508 compliance using both automated tools and manual review
      - Remediate documents to ensure they meet accessibility standards, addressing tagging, alt text, and structural issues
      - Conduct web accessibility testing on web pages and applications to verify compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 AA standards
      - Prepare evaluation reports documenting findings and recommending remediation strategies
      - Collaborate with content creators and developers to integrate accessibility best practices into projects

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - DHS Trusted Tester certification (v5.0 or higher)
      - High school diploma or equivalent
      - Minimum 2 years of experience in Section 508 compliance testing and document remediation
      - Expert-level proficiency with accessibility evaluation tools such as ANDI, Axe, WAVE, and others
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and time management

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with federal accessibility requirements and government agency projects
      - Background in developing and delivering accessibility training
      - Familiarity with web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and document creation tools
      - Experience supporting urgent or ad hoc accessibility requests
