Serving as a cornerstone of northern Atlanta’s newest mixed-used community, the Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta is the official hotel of the Atlanta Braves and located within steps of SunTrust Park as well as premier office space, the Coca-Cola Roxy music venue and a variety of shopping and dining.
Our luxury hotel features 16 floors with 264 rooms including 28 suites, over 20,000 square feet of meeting space and can accommodate business travelers, families on vacation and everyone in-between. Job Description
The On Call Banquet Bartender is responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, anticipating, and delivering guests’ needs. The ideal Bartender comprehends the cocktail/beverage menus, prepares drinks as requested by our guests and serves drinks to our guests .
Responsibilities
•Observe and adhere to all liquor liability laws
•Have excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers and wines
•Requisition and restock bar with all essential products and equipment
•Properly setup and breakdown of area and service station
•Serve properly mixed and proportioned drinks, in a timely manner, to guests and servers
•Monitor the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting sale of alcohol to those who are intoxicated
•Check identification of guests ensuring alcohol is being served only to those patrons of legal drinking age
•Communicate with guests and respond to feedback in a positive manner, resolving any service issues
Qualifications
•Excellent guest service skills are required
•Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
•Must have excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers and wines.
•Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
•Must have alcohol training certification (Cobb County Alcohol Certification & TIPS)
•Must be 19 years of age or older
•Candidates must be able to speak fluent English
