Job Description

Serve as video host or commentator as directed by production team
Represent Yahoo Sports well with sports knowledge, confidence, and authenticity
Understand social media platforms and promote Yahoo Sports content in alignment with best practices respective to each platform
Seamlessly execute on-air sales obligations
Maintain a professional and enthusiastic on-camera presence
Bring ideas to production meetings; work with producers as an active participant in video content
Implement direction and feedback to grow in the role
Write and execute scripts as needed
Effectively communicate needs and preferences to production team and teammates
3+ years of experience in a host/commentator role in a horizontal video production
Exceptional on-camera presence; host must be at ease and poised when appearing on camera
Excellent presentation skills
Flexible, with quick processing: Host needs to smoothly react in the managed chaos of a live environment
Strong social media following
Self-awareness and strong communication skills

They will work proactively with producers to develop content ideas, take and apply direction with grace, and present stories and guide conversations with confidence, charm, and good humor.

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,750.00 - $188,750.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
