      Purpose

      This role supports both general IT operations and a CMMC Level 2/ITAR-regulated environment. The analyst will operate two separate computing environments to maintain strict compliance boundaries. Responsibilities include resolving technical issues, coordinating with Summit 7 (external MSP), supporting compliance documentation, and providing end-user support and training.

      Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to ITAR requirements).

      Job Duties and Responsibilities

      CMMC L2 / ITAR-Regulated Site Support

      • Serve as the on-site liaison between internal IT and Summit 7’s managed services team.
      • Ensure compliance with CMMC L2, DFARS, NIST 800-171, and ITAR requirements.
      • Support endpoint management, patching, and vulnerability remediation in coordination with Summit 7.
      • Participate in Change Control Board (CCB) processes and maintain documentation for SSP and POA&M updates.
      • Assist with incident response tabletop exercises and evidence gathering for audits.
      • Maintain strict separation of duties and access using designated secure systems and devices.

      General IT Site Support (Level II)

      • Provide advanced technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
      • Install, configure, and troubleshoot software, operating systems, and network connectivity.
      • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
      • Support A/V and conference room equipment.
      • Maintain IT asset inventory and coordinate with vendors for procurement and warranty claims.
      • Document solutions and contribute to the internal knowledge base.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred
      • 3–5 years of IT support experience (or 2+ with a relevant degree).
      • Experience supporting secure or regulated environments (DoD, ITAR, NIST, etc.).
      • Strong knowledge of:
        • Microsoft 365 (Teams, OneDrive, Intune)
        • Windows OS, Active Directory, Entra ID
        • LAN/WAN networking, Wi-Fi/AP configuration
      • Familiarity with tools like SCCM, ServiceNow, and endpoint protection platforms.
      • Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
      • Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to ITAR requirements).

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience working with or alongside managed service providers (MSPs).
      • Knowledge of CMMC 2.0, DFARS 7012/7019/7020/7021.
      • Certifications: Security+, Network+, CCP (Certified CMMC Professional), or equivalent.

      Compliance and Security Expectations

      • Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to ITAR requirements).
      • Must follow strict data handling, access control, and documentation protocols.
      • Will operate under a Shared Responsibility Matrix (SRM) with Summit 7.
