What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Communicate with patients, caregivers, and medical staff to coordinate patient deliveries for home and office patients
- Maintain and update patient information and medication profiles, completing assessments under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Provide accurate documentation in patient medical records and process copay information
- Act as a liaison between specialty pharmacy, operations, and patients or medical professionals
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and maintain quality production standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or GED
- Pharmacy technician certification is preferred
- Previous experience in specialty healthcare is preferred
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a specialty pharmacy setting
- Ability to manage time efficiently while remaining organized
- Initiative to present ideas and suggestions to management
