Job Description

Obtains patient referral data from referral sources via phone.
Answer incoming phone calls pertaining to referrals.
Perform clerical duties as requested.
Documents initial referral information.
Identifies and documents patient team assignment.
Notifies intake coordinator of pending referrals.
Enters new patient information into computer system as needed.
Assists Intake with phone communication as needed.
Assures accurate transfer of patient insurance information.
Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Gives high priority to client satisfaction and customer needs. Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
Provides customer service to all internal and external customers.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate, with the ability to utilize standard software applications including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Good organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask
HS diploma or GED required.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
1+ year of call center experience.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office Products required.

Job Details:
Provide ongoing support and assistance to the Care Coordinators. Primary responsibilities include answering incoming phone calls and triaging phone calls to assist our admissions department
