Focus area:

The aim of this internship is to provide training and exposure through practical experience on cutting-edge projects at the intersection of bioinformatics and immune-oncology research.

The intern will gain experience through supporting a selection of defined projects, shadowing opportunities, and participating in relevant team meetings.

Specifically, projects will focus on providing experience in the following areas:

• Implementation of statistical methodologies on omics datasets to address biological questions related to oncology and immunotherapies.

• Extraction of meaningful biological insights for the findings in the context of drug development.

• In-depth analysis and synthesizing the results into detailed reports and presentations.

Requirements

• A background in Biology, Bioinformatics or Biomedicine (Mathematics, Physics or computer science will be considered given some biology background) .

• Basic capabilities in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics such as R/Python .

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for leveraging computational methods to address biological challenges .

• Communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive and collaborative approach to research .
