- Under general direction, serves as a OneNet System Analyst for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) supporting the Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Develops moderate to high level of knowledge and familiarity with software products used by agency websites and administrative systems.
- Provides technical and analytical support for DHS staff relative to DHS websites /intranet.
- Provides telephone and webinar-based assistance to users with problems or emergency situations regarding DHS websites and administrative systems software and components.
- Assists in developing and writing guides and reference materials for applications and functions of DHS website and administrative systems software within the area of expertise, including posting them to various media (intranet, internet, video. etc.).
- Keeps abreast of new developments in the Information Technology field:
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields.
- Requires one (1) year of professional experience in Client Services or a related Information Technology field.
- Requires one (1) year of professional experience providing training to end-users in a one-to-one and classroom setting.
- Requires one (1) year of professional experience developing training materials and working with standards-compliant hypertext markup language (HTML) and Illinois Information Technology Accessibility Act (IITAA) standards or World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- One (1) year of professional experience providing training to end-users in a one-to-one and classroom setting,
- One (1) year of professional experience developing training materials and working with standards-compliant hypertext markup language (HTML) and Illinois Information Technology Accessibility Act (IITAA) standards or World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- Ability to analyze data logically and exercise sound judgement in defining and evaluating problems of an operational or procedural nature.
- Ability to gain and maintain effective working relationships with associates, vendors, clients and others.
- Ability to coordinate the activities of work associates to achieve desired results.
- Developed verbal and written communication skills to present technical information to others with clarity and precision.
- Requires the ability to verify identity.

- Requires the ability to lift and carry objects or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds. This is considered light work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(b)). Light work involves lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
