      The opportunity

      Southern New Hampshire University is looking for faculty to teach in our General Education courses specifically in the area of Social Justice. As an online faculty, you will provide high-quality academic experiences and supports students as they work toward their educational goals. You will also work collaboratively in a supportive academic environment, partnering with student advising and the academic team to ensure that each student has the support and resources they need to be successful.

      Currently seeking instructors for the following courses:

      • IDS-105 Cultural Awarness in Online Learning

      In this Role You'll Get To:

      • Provide a high level of student outreach and connect with students, academic advisors and team leads on a frequent basis to ensure student success
      • Be engaging, offering an increased and creative presence
      • Provide student feedback and offer a quick turnaround on grades

      What we're Looking For:

      • A minimum of a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Cultural Studies, Psychology, Humanities, Social Science, Diversity Studies, or similar degree from an accredited higher education institution.
      • At least one year teaching experience teaching similar content at high school level or above OR experience facilitating training of related content in a group setting
      • Experience discussing diversity, equity, and inclusion, service to underrepresented populations, and other equity-focused concepts and/or policy in an educational context
      • One year of relevant industry experience working within the community to support social change

      Compensation:

      The standard compensation for courses is $2,200 per 8-week undergraduate course.

      Undergraduate adjuncts are paid bi-weekly and are considered W-2 employees of Southern NH University.

      This is a remote role.
