- Doctoral degree in Healthcare Administration, or directly related field from a regionally accredited educational institution required
- Certified as a community health educator or in health informatics or equivalent is a plus.
- Preference will be given to those who hold certification in CHES or CHDA.
- 3-5 years' work experience in health care administration, community health, or health informatics required; 7-10 years’ work experience preferred Industry experience must be within the last 5 years. Subject matter expert in health informatics or community/public health preferred
- 2 years online teaching/curriculum experience, with strong online webinar presentation skills a plus.
- Effectively provide personal work experiences to connect course concepts to real-world examples and sharing resources that encourage successful application of required knowledge.
- Strong academic and professional record
- The highest levels of integrity at all times.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment
- Ability to quickly build connections with students using strong interpersonal skills (including approachability and empathy).
- Ability to work in a 5-week accelerated course environment
- Comfortable being first point of contact to troubleshoot software or technical concerns for students.
- Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student and department needs.
- LMS experience, Canvas Learning Management System highly desirable
- Reliable high-speed internet required
- Responsible for supplying your own windows-based computer and webcam.
- Your computer system must pass the ECPI University minimum requirements test.
- Required to teach one live session each week and hold one live office hour per week via Zoom

Overview
We are looking for instructors to teach in our Master of Healthcare Administration program. This would be an ideal position for a Healthcare professional. No prior teaching experience is needed; we provide training, mentoring, and ongoing faculty support.
