      The Director of Involvement within the Office of Student Leadership, Involvement, & Inclusion (SLII) is responsible for the development and growth of programs and services which foster co-curricular engagement and campus involvement directly supporting workforce development skills for all students. The Director has supervisory responsibility for all UNO Greek Activities including the collegiate panhellenic council, interfraternity council, multicultural Greek council, & national Pan-Hellenic. The Director has supervisory responsibility for the coordinator who supports UNO Student Government including first-year leadership council and other projects, governing documents, and initiatives associated with the Student Government. The Director serves on the Fund A Fee Purchasing Appeals Committee. The Director will meet consistently with the UNO Student Regent and their executive team and provide conflict mediation and training as needed. The Director oversees UNO’s co-curricular education and outreach unit within SLII which includes educational requirements associated with Executive Memorandum 44. This includes direct supervision of the Coordinator of Co-curricular outreach and consistent training for peer educators and graduate assistants. In collaboration with other departments across campus, the Director will assist in planning of programming which highlights safety and broad services for all students (e.g., sexual assault awareness month & domestic assault awareness month). Finally, the Director has supervisory responsibility for MavSYNC to ensure this platform is regularly monitored and updated to facilitate the needs of student leaders, registered student organizations, and other campus constituents.
