      Job summary

      We have 2 whole time vacancies, 37.5 hours, for experienced HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioners or NMC Registered Nurse with an anaesthetic qualification, to work in our delivery suite theatres. The department has 3 theatres, 1 of which is elective and the other 24/7 acutes with a third theatre for critical emergencies. The successful candidates will join our established team to provide safe anaesthetic care and support and will be happy working 12 hours shifts on a rotational basis, including nights and weekends. The contracts will be for the generic theatre department but the posts will be based in delivery suite theatres.

      Main duties of the job

      The main duty is to adhere to HCPC guidelines of good Practice supporting safe and effective obstetric analgesia and anaesthesia.Working proactively within the MDT to achieve positive patient satisfaction and good outcomes.
