The purpose of the Operations Leadership Development Program is to prepare new, emerging leaders within Medtronic, accelerating their careers and preparing them to lead Medtronic in the future.
The program represents the beginning of a talent pipeline that will see savvy, seasoned, skilled professionals populating the management ranks of Medtronic in the years to come.
A Day in the Life
The Operations Leadership Development Program is a full-time “on-site”, salary, professional-level leadership training experience. Participants in this program rotate through three different medical device experiences, different sites, gaining progressive responsibilities over the course of two years. Eight months are spent in each situation gaining specific job and industry knowledge. July 2024 start date.
The three experiences participants in Global Manufacturing track will enjoy are as follows:
· Rotation #1 : OLDP Engineer I will start first rotation in OpEx (Operational Excellence)
· Rotation #2: Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering
· Rotation #3: Manufacturing Supervisor; OI Packaging & Labeling, OI Process Engineering; Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME)
Locations of rotations: North Haven, CT. MECC, MN, Brooklyn Park, MN, Bedford, MA, Boulder, CO, Danvers, MA, Tempe,AZ
Following the conclusion of the two-year cycle, participants continue as full-time Medtronic employees and transition to a new position elsewhere in the Global Manufacturing (the exact position to be determined near the conclusion of the program, based on mutual best interest).

Successful candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree required
· 0 years of experience
Nice to haves:
· Engineering degree, preference in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering
· Exceptional engineering students who demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills and who are open to exploring a variety of operational assignments and locations.
· Highly mobile and willing to pursue different geographic opportunities.
· Previous internship experience (not necessary Medtronic)

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
