      About the Opportunity

      The Operational Performance Consultant supports assessment, development, implementation and monitoring of performance measurement and operational analytic support tools needed by Zone Operations. The position works with operational and medical leaders to provide tools to allow them to examine their performance, understand the current state of operations and plan for the future. This role assists Operational leaders to monitor performance related to zone priorities and support them to get to higher levels of performance.

      This position utilizes a hybrid workplace model that combines working from home with working onsite. Candidates can live and work from anywhere in the province, with travel required only as necessary.

      About You

      We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

      • Undergraduate degree in analytics, informatics or health related field required, Master’s Degree preferred
      • 5 years of relevant experience with progressive accountabilities for standards development; evaluation and implementation; and adoption of best practices to deliver high quality services
      • Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and work experience
      • Knowledge and skills in the areas of analytic tools, applications and systems of support
      • Advanced knowledge of health care systems and Operational care areas
      • Registration with relevant health or professional discipline/college or association an asset
      • Certified Health Executive designation an asset
      • Excellent leadership, organizational and decision skills
      • Expert knowledge to critically analyze evidence-based practices to inform strategy development and organizational planning
      • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships and partnerships with stakeholders
      • Evidence-based collaborative problem solving of complex multifaceted issues
      • Understands the principles of project management and demonstrated ability to create and lead complex work teams
      • Expertise in leading complex change
      • Quality improvement methodologies
      • Cultural competence
      • Collaboration, negotiation, and persuasion skills are paramount as this role requires the engagement of stakeholders to motivate change
      • Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data and monitor quality and performance indicators and benchmarks
      • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

      Hours

      • Permanent, Full-time position, 75 hrs bi-weekly

      Compensation and Incentives

      $36.33 - $45.42 Hourly

      Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
