- Facilitate Scrum Processes: Guide and coach the development team(s) and product owner(s) in Agile/Scrum principles and practices. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure that all participants understand the purpose and value of these events.
- Team Support: Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment. Empower team members to take ownership of tasks and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Provide guidance, remove impediments, and promote problem-solving to ensure team success.
- Product Owner Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the product owner to understand and prioritize product backlog items. Help the team to define clear, concise, and achievable sprint goals and user stories. Assist in managing stakeholder expectations and communication.
- Agile Principles and Practices: Champion Agile principles and practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum values and methodologies. Educate and mentor team members, stakeholders, and other individuals on Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Project Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements, objectives, and deliverables to ensure clarity and alignment. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document project scope, timelines, and dependencies.
- Monitoring and Tracking: Implement systems and processes to monitor project progress and track key metrics. Regularly assess the team's performance, sprint outcomes, and backlog status. Identify and address any deviations or potential risks promptly.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive and accurate reports on project status, including progress, accomplishments, and challenges. Present reports to relevant stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on project health, timeline adherence, and resource utilization.
- Work Backlog Communication: Establish effective channels of communication to manage and prioritize the work backlog. Facilitate discussions with the product owner and development team to ensure a shared understanding of backlog items, their priorities, and dependencies. Regularly communicate backlog changes, updates, and refinements to the team.
- Documentation and Documentation Management: Create and maintain project documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint planning artifacts. Ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to the team and stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively. Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies. Regularly communicate risk status and potential impact to relevant parties.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Foster a collaborative environment that encourages effective communication and coordination among team members, stakeholders, and external partners. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and information sharing to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Tools and Systems: Utilize appropriate project management and collaboration tools to support project analysis, monitoring, and reporting. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and tools to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Metrics and Analytics: Develop and maintain key performance metrics and analytics related to Agile and Scrum implementation. Provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team, highlighting progress, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization. Support data-driven decision-making processes by providing accurate and timely data.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes related to project analysis, monitoring, and reporting. Seek feedback from stakeholders and team members to identify areas for enhancement and implement relevant improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or or similar Agile certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist)
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile project management role.
- Solid understanding of Agile principles, values, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and guide individuals and teams towards self-organization and high performance.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience with Agile project management tools and software.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintain confidential and highly sensitive information.

The starting base pay for this role is between USD 98,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 163,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 112,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 200,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
