      We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our Windows-based Operational Technology systems and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our organization's data. You will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating security threats, analyzing vulnerabilities, and implementing security best practices on Windows platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Windows security principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to proactively respond to emerging threats.

      Job Level: FT Supervisor

      Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM (some weekends required)

      Responsibilities:

      • Security Patch Management: Manage and implement the deployment of security patches and updates on Windows systems. Ensure timely patching to mitigate known vulnerabilities.
      • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, incidents, and remediation efforts. Generate reports for management and audit purposes.
      • Security Research: Stay up to date with the latest Windows security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends. Share knowledge and insights with the cybersecurity team.
      • User Support and Training: Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Create and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles. Conduct user training sessions as needed.
      • System Administration: Maintain Windows servers, workstations, and related software. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control lists (ACLs).
      • Server Virtualization: Configure and manage virtualized Windows servers using platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
      • Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to support cross-functional projects. Work closely with network administrators, security analysts, and other specialists.
      • Research and Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in Windows systems administration. Recommend and implement improvements and innovations in Windows system management.

      Preferences:

      • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Preferred
      • Effective communication and teamwork skills
      • Proven experience as a Windows Security Analyst or in a similar role
      • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and security technologies
      • Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., CIS, NIST)
      • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
      • Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, MCSA, MCSE) - Preferred
