- The OT Cybersecurity Engineer provides an important role in facilitating the adoption of the vision and strategy for Cybersecurity as it relates to OT environments across the RTX enterprise.
- Expected to communicate how the cybersecurity strategy for OT will benefit the current and future RTX business direction to stakeholders across the enterprise, collaborating and influencing stakeholders across multiple disciplines at both the enterprise and business unit level.
- Expected to communicate the key requirements and drivers for enterprise-wide adoption of the strategy.
- Partner with the Cybersecurity Organization, Operations Organization, Business Units, and key functional organizations within RTX to facilitate the consumption and implementation of OT security services or the appropriate reference architectures that will facilitate and deployment models to support future growth and development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams at both the enterprise and BU level to evaluate integrations of the OT stack with other cyber and functional requirements and infrastructures.
- Continually review and assess the adoption and deployment of the OTSS strategy and identify new opportunities to more quickly further their implementation/adoption.
- Evaluate system security measures for compliance with multiple regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, DCID/ICD 503, DoD RMF), and accurately assess the impact of modifications, changes, and vulnerabilities for each system where needed.
- Coordinate their duties with selected Security, Information Technology, and Project Managers on a regular basis.
- Participates in interdepartmental projects and provides leadership as necessary.
- Interfaces with internal and external Security personnel, customers, and management where required.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or similar certification
- Experience with Windows, Linux/Unix and Realtime operating systems
- Experience with networking, network-based protection technologies
- Experience with end point IT and OT systems operations and protections
- Knowledge of IT and industrial protocols, cryptography,
- Knowledge of IT/OT Resiliency/Continuity, Defensible architecture, Active and passive IT/OT monitoring, Secure identity and access, and relevant IT/OT vulnerability management
- Understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) and corresponding proactive and reactive countermeasures
- Familiarity with external regulations: DoD 8500 series, NIST Special Publications (800-53, 800-37, 800-82, 800-171 etc.), CMMC, ISA/IEC series
- Familiarity with the configuration and management of systems within both Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
- Ability to present as an IT/OT cybersecurity subject matter expert, to inspire and influence intended outcomes
- Ability to provide technical security expertise and oversight for complex, cross-domain, heterogeneous networked environments in collaboration with Customers, Enterprise functions, and other Raytheon Business Units
- Ability to interface with internal and external customers (i.e., AOs, DAOs, SCAs, Program Managers, etc.)

Role Overview
Raytheon Technologies is looking for an Engineer for our Operational Technology Security Solutions (OTSS) team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with RTX businesses and their associated roadmaps and requirements for their operational technology implementations. This individual should have knowledge of IT and OT cybersecurity operations, practices, and regulations and be able to inform decision making in all aspects of OT security at senior levels across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will be able to help focus OTSS efforts to achieve maximum impact while further enabling the adoption of the OTSS strategic vision.

Education: Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 8 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 5 years experience.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
