      Job Description

      We are seeking an Operations Analyst for our Insurance Operations team in our Charlotte, NC office. The role is responsible for providing operational support for our underwriting teams in our North America region. The Operations Analyst will be part of a team that handles processes such as renewal preparation, preparation of required policy notices and filings, new system conversion, and various other underwriting and operational support activities.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Provide technical and administrative support to underwriting units including but not limited to renewal policy preparation, and various policy notices
      • Review, order, and set-up miscellaneous reports needed in the rating and underwriting process
      • Set up ImageRight and Shared Drive Files/Folders
      • Prepare Workers’ Compensation posting notices for various states
      • Generate New Business Policy Number assignments
      • Compile data utilizing various sources and tools; investigate data quality issues
      • Communicate with underwriting assistants, underwriters, managers, and brokers in a clear and concise manner.
      • Train contingent workers and vendors on processes
      • Gather necessary underwriting information/documentation for state specific and financial audit requests
      • Follow best practices and support continuous improvement
      • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Operations management

      Qualifications needed:

      • 1+ years of experience in an Underwriting Support or other Insurance Support position
      • Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, ImageRight
      • Experience with Guidewire, Cognos and/or other insurance systems a plus
      • Equivalent experience preferred but not required.
      • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
      • Highly organized with ability to handle competing priorities
      • Ability to adjust to a changing work environment and look for better ways of working
      • Ability to work closely within a team structure
