      The Operations Analyst is going to support ongoing continuous improvement efforts within the plant by helping us conduct necessary data analysis and dashboarding. An ideal candidate will have experience in problem-solving using data analysis. Needs to possess the acumen/skillset to query data from various sources and perform analysis. Since these duties will be evolving the person will be expected to learn software packages which include but are not limited to PowerBI, Minitab, Visio, PowerApps, and MES.

      • Takes ownership of the assigned tasks and is a good problem solver.
      • Participate in setting operational metrics to monitor activity using data analytic tools like Power BI
      • Automate routings in our ERP system
      • Create ERDs and create procedures to help structure data connections
      • Make API connections from CMMS and SharePoint lists to safety to other corporate software
      • Involved with the study and implementation of a WMS
      • Learn how to extract, transform, and load data from various sources like ERP systems, data warehouses, and other third-party software that are used within the company.
      • Learn the ability to navigate and understand how certain triggers will work for our ERP and MES software.

      To succeed in this role, you will need :

      • To be working towards an engineering degree in Industrial Engineers, Business Analytics, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
      • Experience in making queries from databases
      • Course projects or work experience in conducting data analysis on large datasets
      • Exposure to manufacturing operations preferred
      • Lean / Six Sigma training preferred
      • Python, SQL, R, Minitab, Weka, or other data mining practices would be a plus
