      The Operations Analyst | Wealth Management will report to our client’s head of service and trading. The role’s focus is working with Fidelity to resolve issues in the account opening and asset transfer processes, to help handle complex client requests, or to get guidance on how best to accomplish complex or non-standard tasks. There will also be work related to supporting the firm’s trading, compliance, client service, and audit processes.


      Responsibilities

      • Client Onboarding:
        • Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
        • Coordinate with different departments to set up client accounts and ensure a seamless transition.
      • Account Maintenance:
        • Process account transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
        • Monitor account activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
        • Handle client inquiries related to account maintenance.
      • Operational Support:
        • Collaborate with the portfolio management and financial planning teams to provide operational support as needed.
        • Execute and reconcile trades in coordination with portfolio managers.
        • Manage and update client records in the firm's systems.
      • Reporting:
        • Generate and distribute periodic reports for clients, summarizing account performance and other relevant information.
        • Prepare internal reports for management to monitor key operational metrics.
      • Compliance:
        • Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure all operational processes adhere to compliance standards.
        • Assist in audits and regulatory examinations by providing requested documentation and information.
      • Technology and Systems:
        • Utilize and maintain various software systems used for account management, reporting, and client communication.
        • Troubleshoot any operational issues related to technology platforms.
      • Team Collaboration:
        • Work closely with other team members, including financial advisors, portfolio managers, and client service representatives, to address client needs and enhance overall service quality.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or any related courses.
      • At least 2 years of experience in wealth or asset management or any equivalent role.
      • Experience in using Wealthscape, Fidelity’s custody platform for registered investment advisors is required.
      • Previous experience in financial services, wealth management, or a similar role is preferred.
      • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
      • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
      • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
      • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
      • Amenable to work from 8:30AM to 5:30PM US Eastern Time Zone.
