      Operations & PDC Performance Specialist

      Objective

      The objective of this position is to support Product Development organization, by analyzing Key Performance Metrics across Nemak in search of opportunities and best practices. Standardization of definitions and metrics for PDCs, launching programs and on-going global programs. Continuous contact with plants and regional peers, in order to assure consistency and fully adherence to definitions and Global Financial Performance processes, policies and other relevant manuals. Develop and maintain infrastructure and relevant reports that allows management team to take decisions and administrate business: inventory Performance, Critical Programs, Travel and other SG&A. Opportunities validation through deep analysis and benchmarking with the objective of develop actions plans to improve business results and implementation of best practices. Support TMO agenda.

      Main Responsibilities

      • Development Expenses and Product Development Centers (PDCs) Controlling & Benchmarking: Define and develop KPIs for development programs and PDCs. In collaboration with Global Accounting, Business Development and Global IT review current infrastructure available for performance tracking and develop and maintain systems with the objective of standardization and benchmarking of programs in terms of NPDS complexity, as well as PDCs KPIs tracking. Update Global Policies and manuals for Capitalization Expenses, PDC operations and accounting infrastructure. Keep track of comparisons vs. budget, trends and ratios by program and PDCs.
      • Performance Tools & Infrastructure: Maintain current data reporting system, and also develop infrastructure to improve accuracy, reliability with new interactive/creative dashboards and reports. Active participation in MORe Analytics project / Tableau.
      • Inventory Performance & Quality analysis: Track FG&WIP inventory globally, raise awareness of Critical Programs maintaining model and process updated.
      • SG&A analysis: Focus in travel and discretionary expenses.
      • TMO: Active participation and coordination of projects within TMO Cost Reduction track (Inventory and SG&A)

      Position Requirements

      • Engineering degree - Required
      • Master degree - Recommended
      • Skills: Knowledge of Operations most relevent KPIs, Understanding of Nemak's operations and processes, experience with tools such as: SAP, BW, NORIS & Tableau.
      • Experience in cost controlling/operations administration, Strong Analytical skills.
      • At least 3 years experience as: Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Operations Administration, Finance and Cost Controlling, Program Management
