      POSITION SUMMARY : Enters Edison Grant Purchase Orders, reviews and approves travel and expense claims, and performs other duties as assigned.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Enters and approves payment purchase orders into Edison.
      • Primary liaison for all grant purchase order issues.
      • Reviews and approves agency travel and expense claims.
      • Performs onboarding of new employees by meeting with new employees to review Ops information packet, taking picture for ID, and following up on issues or concerns related to Operations.
      • Provides training for new employees and new managers for submitting and approving travel and expense claims in Edison.
      • Performs duties related to the Tennessee Housing Conference as assigned.
      • Serves as back up to the Operations Support Specialist.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

      Education and Experience:

      • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
      • One year of Professional office or procurement experience required

      • Ability to coordinate multiple activities effectively.

      • Skilled in operating basic office equipment.
      • Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet; able to effectively adapt to and use other computer systems as needed for daily activities.

      • Ability to hear and speak on a telephone.
      • Ability to use a telephone headset for extended periods of time.
      • Current, valid driver’s license from domicile state and the ability to drive.
      • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and talk and hear.
      • The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
      • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
