      Job summary

      The Elms are looking for an Operations Coordinator, to join our friendly and supportive GP Surgery Team. This important staff member, will be responsible for parts of the day to day operating of the practice, including IT support, Admin Support and troubleshooting. The team member will also work closely with the relevant ITS. EMIS, ICB and other external contacts as well as Business Partner & Admin Manager.

      Main duties of the job

      • Smooth running of the practice
      • Primary contact for external IT and related ICB colleagues
      • Supporting BP with creating practice procedures and pathways
      • Accurx, Ardens, Pinnacle, DXS and other related software practice support coordinator
      • Supporting Admin Manager and Business Partner
      • GPTN lead

      About us

      Very supportive and friendly practice looking after 9000 patients. The practice is on the register of licensed sponsors and has two licenses if needed. Amazing Admin, Reception, and Clinical team. Would suit someone who's worked in General Practice before, understands how it works and loves daily challenges!

      The Elms are looking for an Operations Coordinator, to join our friendly supportive GP Surgery Team.       Essential attributes required:

      • Worked in a healthcare setting
      • Experienced in EMIS, Accurx, Ardens, GPTeamNet
      • Ability to recognise opportunities to enhance service delivery
      • Excellent communication skills to include written, oral and presenting
      • Strong IT skills
      • Exemplary troubleshooting skills
      • PA experience
      • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
      • Educated to A-level/equivalent or higher with relevant experience

      Responsibilities

      • Smooth running of the practice
      • Onboarding and off boarding staff from clinical system, computers, GPTN and other related IT systems used by the practice
      • Coordinating practice and external meetings
      • Taking minutes, creating templates, diary management support
      • Supporting BP with creating practice procedures and pathways
      • Troubleshooting IT issues for the practice and staff members
      • Coordinating with medical students, onboarding, creating rotas
      • PPG practice champion
      • Accurx, Ardens, Pinnacle and other related software support
      • Supporting Admin Manager and Managing Partner
      • PIDS and practice website
      • Coordinating winter vaccinations via Accubook and EMIS
