- You'll manage the overall Operations & Supply Chain performance, focusing on People, Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost, ensuring compliance with cGMP and HSE standards.
- You'll collaborate with the GM and site leadership to develop long and short-range plans, programs, and objectives for Operations and Supply Chain activities.
- You'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and administering the Operations & Supply Chain Departmental budget, including cost-saving targets and goals.
- Using site KPIs, you'll monitor and control all operations, ensuring optimal system use and process improvement.
- You'll work closely with cross-functional teams on capacity planning and S&OP, ensuring Operational Readiness requirements are met and on-time delivery across all clinical shipping activities. You're tasked with developing and implementing short- and long-term CI strategies to advance Packaging and Supply Chain operations.
- You'll oversee departmental deviations, investigations, change controls, and CAPAs, and represent or lead site meetings with clients.
- You'll provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development for employees, leading a highly motivated, efficient, and effective team.

- Equipped with a Bachelor’s degree (MS/MBA desirable or equivalent) and considerable experience in a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industry.
- Experienced in managing Operations and Supply Chain functions, with a continuous improvement background and a track record of delivering sustainable results.
- Knowledgeable about current and emerging Production technologies and thoroughly understand GMP compliance as it pertains to clinical trials and commercial production.
- Skilled in domestic and international shipping processes and regulations, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.

As the Director of Operations at our Bathgate location, you'll take on a hands-on, Senior Leadership role, overseeing and advancing our Clinical and Commercial Packaging and Supply Chain functional groups. You'll be at the helm, crafting and executing strategies that ensure our production and delivery schedules meet the needs of our global clients and their patients on time, every time. Collaborating with teams across Quality, Technical Operations, Project Management, Finance, and Business Development, you'll foster a client-focused, solution-oriented culture rooted in continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll steer all aspects of our supply chain management and clinical packaging operations. Your responsibilities will span purchasing, sourcing, logistics, warehousing, inventory management and control, material forecasting, functional capacity planning and sourcing, S&OP planning, and financial costing. You'll also lead the Supply Chain and Operations teams, regularly engaging with clients to discuss current and future studies.
