As Operations Director for Stagecoach South. You will be leading the operations team across 8 depots, plus outstations, in Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex. With 500 vehicles and leading a team of over 1,000 people, you will have the autonomy and drive to take the business forward.
This job isn’t for you, if you want to sit at a desk all day, this is about being out and about with our people, supporting and understanding them, and leading them. Managing resources is a key element of the role, and tackling the challenge around driver recruitment will be one of the primary elements of the position, while having the skills to maintain budgets. You will also have experience of managing relationships with multiple Trade Unions. Ultimately, as Operations Director, you will ensure that our operations are efficient and sustainable by leading on aspects of operational performance and excellent customer service, while maintaining strong governance regarding safety and legislative requirements.
